SPECworkstation 3
We have only started using the new SPECworkstation 3 benchmark, so we do not have a full set of graphics cards to compare. We have some GPUs in the pipeline so that these results will fill out quickly.
With the highest price tag and the most comptue resources, we can clearly see the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti again take the lead. In our compute benchmarks, the RTX 2080 Ti is simply faster in every test.
3DMark Suite Testing
Here we will run the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition through graphics-related benchmarks.
On January 8th, 2019, UL Benchmarks released the Ray Tracing benchmark for NVIDIA RTX 2000 series graphics cards called Port Royal which is included with the 3DMark suite if you purchase the Port Royal Upgrade. You can read about thisĀ here.
Port Royal is the first benchmark that tests the RT (Ray Tracing) feature on these cards. Since this is new, we are just starting to populate the data set.
Here are the 3DMark suite results. We will discuss them after the charts.
Unigine Benchmarks
We see the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti easily outperforms last gen cards and tops the charts in all tests. This is probably the least surprising set of charts we can show after going through the compute side. With more compute and memory resources, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti performs extremely well along every axis we are testing.
Next, let us look at power consumption and cooling tests and our final thoughts.
Excellent Quick Simple and Rock Solid Review Mr. Harmon !!
Im sold ! all I need is 1 2080Ti card for my new system Build.
But 2 2080Ti’s SLI might work too Good :)
