HP ZBook 14u G6 Mobile Workstation System Benchmarks
We have a number of system-level benchmarks that we run through. We wanted to give some sense of where the HP ZBook 14u G6 falls.
Passmark
Passmark is a common workstation benchmark suite. Here we are simply going to present the result:
Again, we see the AMD Radeon Pro WX3200 holding the system back in Passmark. This is also a 15W TDP Intel Core i7. That naturally limits the overall performance as one would expect. In the mobile world, there is plenty of logic to use lower power components to trade performance for battery life.
SPECworkstation 3
SPECworkstation3 measures the 3D graphics performance of systems running under the OpenGL and Direct X application programming interfaces, also storage and processing power are taken into effect to benchmark the entire system.
In several key areas, we find the HP ZBook 14u G6 Mobile Workstation competes very well, SPECworkstation benchmark takes a great deal of time to run, thermals can have a big effect here, generally, the hardware combination is well balanced which helps generate excellent scores for a notebook in its power class with a 15W TDP CPU.
SPECviewperf 13
SPECviewperf 13 measures the 3D graphics performance of systems running under the OpenGL and Direct X application programming interfaces.
Next, we wanted to get a sense of the rendering performance of the HP ZBook 14u G6 Mobile Workstation with GPU power only using SPECviewperf. Here the AMD Radeon Pro WX3200 alone finds it difficult to score high as the benchmark uses many different routines to calculate its score, the AMD Radeon Pro WX3200 can only use OpenCL.
Next, we wanted to get a sense of the rendering performance of the HP ZBook 14u G6 Mobile Workstation.
How do you go through an entire laptop review without so much as mentioning the screen =|
