BOXX APEXX W3 Class Workstation AIDA64 CPU Benchmarks
Benchmark pages of AIDA64 Extreme provide several methods to measure system performance. These benchmarks are synthetic, so their results show only the theoretical (maximum) performance of the system.
CPU and FPU benchmarks of AIDA64 Extreme are built on the multi-threaded AIDA64 Benchmark Engine that supports up to 1280 simultaneous processing threads. It also supports multi-processor, multi-core, and Hyper-Threading enabled systems. More information about these benchmarks can be found here.
Again we find the AMD Threadripper processors show the best performance. Still, the Xeon W-2295 is actually giving a solid result, sometimes having its 18 cores outpace 32 previous-gen AMD cores with theĀ AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2990WX.
Next, we are going to look at the power consumption before getting to our final thoughts.

Recently we ran a separate review of the NVIDIA QUADRO RTX 5000, which can be found here.

Added. Thanks Philip.
I would pay good money for that case, were it available on its own, it’s great. Good review all round :)
Thanks for the kind words Tom. I designed that chassis for BOXX circa 2018, and it was quite a challenge to make a chassis design that wasn’t just a plain-looking rectangular “box” using only press brake bends (i.e., without any very expensive custom forming tooling).
