3DMark Suite Testing
Here we will run the ASUS Turbo-RTX2060-6G through graphics-related benchmarks.
On January 8th, 2019, UL Benchmarks released the Ray Tracing benchmark for NVIDIA RTX 2000 series graphics cards called Port Royal which is included with the 3DMark suite if you purchase the Port Royal Upgrade. You can read about thisĀ here.
Port Royal is the first benchmark that tests the RT (Ray Tracing) feature on these cards. Since this is new, we are just starting to populate the data set.
Here are the 3DMark suite results. We will discuss them after the charts.
One can see the feature impacts here with a step function between each model. Here are the rest of the results.
Overall we see a solid showing from the ASUS Turbo-RTX2060-6G. In many cases, this card is able to outperform the AMD Radeon Vega Frontier Edition which is billed as a higher-end AMD part with HBM2. This is at least something to consider as NVIDIA has forged ahead with newer architectures.
Next, we are going to look at the ASUS Turbo-RTX2060-6G power and temperature tests, a key factor for blower-styler cooler GPUs, and then give our final words.
