Today’s game is being held in Las Vegas, but since we just did this piece two weeks ago or so, we thought we would bring it back up. This year’s Super Bowl features the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs. We recently got to tour the data center, press box, and the command center where the team can monitor sales activity around the stadium.
Super Bowl Sunday Check Out the 49ers Stadium Data Center Press Box and Stats Room
If you want to check out the main site article, seeĀ Inside the Secret Data Center at the Heart of the San Francisco 49ers Levi’s Stadium. Of course, we have a video for that one as well in:
We always suggest watching this in its own tab, browser, or app for the best viewing experience.
George and I flew out the Wednesday before the Green Bay Packers game and the team was in full preparation mode. This is the field being painted for the divisional round game. You can see that the yard markets, logo at the center of the field and so forth have not been painted yet.
Even though the team was in full playoff game mode (for a Saturday game) we still got about two hours to run around and film, which was fantastic.
Final Words
This is a quick article on STH because it is topical, and the STH team and I are going to be watching the game. It is also something we are planning to do more of on STH. One of the challenges is just working around the new baby’s arrival hopefully in the summer this year. We have a few other cool ones in the works.
Thanks again to Intel an the 49ers for making this project possible. To the STH readers out there, hopefully you have an awesome Super Bowl Sunday.
